Bright is a chemist with about ten years’ experience in community health advocacy in Ghana. He studied for Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at the University of Ghana, Legon and has read many online courses including Essential of Global Health, the Dynamics of Infectious Diseases, Training and Learning Programs for Volunteer Community Health Workers from Yale University, Pennsylvania State University and John Hopkins University respectively.

Bright is a 2016 Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) fellow and has received training by the U.S government at the West Africa Regional Learning Center (RLC). He is currently enrolled in a leadership and governance training program at the West African Civil Society Institute under scholarship by the Embassy of France in Ghana.

He has been at the forefront advocating for health in Ghana since 2009. Bright has successfully led 13 health promotional projects as the Executive Director of Freedom Aid Ghana, an NGO he established in 2009.

His community health project has benefited about fifteen thousand people from different regions in Ghana so far. He worked with Phinas Pharma Ltd as a Market Development Officer and has helped the company to grow in 18 months. Bright is currently serving as the Administrative Manager for Dentoc Dental Clinic and doubles as the Executive Director of Freedom Aid Ghana.
